1.Afterlife
This little boutique caught my eye one night after it was closed. I made a point to come back the next day and it was completely worth it. Located in the Mission (which by the way has a great selection of food from all over the world), I found a mix of independent designer and handpicked vintage garb. Make a stop here if you’re a Cheap Monday fan. Moderately priced.
2. Wasteland
Wasteland is an LA favorite, but the store keeps it fresh in SF. The front of the store is aligned with new independent designer (Last time I was there I spotted Supadupa Vintage, Gas’d Love, ect.), and toward the back have rad vintage/used designer inexpensive finds at extremely reasonable prices. Plus the Haight is a fun spot to hit up (tons of hippie shops, Crossroads, Amoeba Record Store, Villains, Food...yeah I eat)…think of it as SF’s Melrose for those who haven’t been.
3. Shotwell
Conveniently located near Union Square, Shotwell is perfect for new designer finds. Here you’ll find stuff from Shades of Grey, Rxmance, Kill City, Them Atelier…ect. This is perfect if you're in the are and you’re not a fan of the many big chains that surround Union Square.
4. The Seventh Heart
A San Francisco favorite that has notoriously, in the past, paired up with OAKNYC to bring you some rad rad clothing. My favorite? Black and white T-Shirts. It's that simple. Located on Market.
